The Physical Education Department has three members of Staff:

Mr C. McKaigue is assisting the P.E. Department on a three year temporary basis to deliver the curriculum and develop Gaelic games.
A number of other teachers assist with extra-curricular activities in a whole range of Sports.

- the role of exercise in a fit and healthy lifestyle
All pupils participate in one double lesson of PE each week. Year 8 participate in a triple lesson. The emphasis is on participation and on providing a variety of activities to give enjoyment, promote physical fitness, develop skills and team work.

NETBALL, CAMOGIE, SOCCER, GAELIC FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, RUGBY, SWIMMING, GYMNASTICS, DANCE, ATHLETICS, CROSS-COUNTRY, CIRCUIT TRAINING
All pupils participate in one double lesson of PE each week. We also offer GCSE PE to those pupils who wish to specialise in PE and obtain a formal qualification.

From September 2016 our pupils follow CCEA GCSE PE which has both practical and theoretical elements.
